Despite initial concerns about whether it could take place, the traditional summer sports day organized by Stiftsschule Engelberg and IOS went ahead as planned last Thursday—and turned out to be a day that showcased everyone’s joy in being together and their team spirit.

In the morning, the students competed in various sports as part of teams that spanned classes and schools. The afternoon was devoted to class competitions, including the Highland Games. In glorious late-summer weather, the students not only competed but also cheered each other on, shared in the excitement, and supported one another. The atmosphere was contagious: Everyone got into the spirit, celebrated each other, and enjoyed the day.

After some tough but fair matches, this year’s trophy went to the 4th OG. Congratulations!
