Students make a pilgrimage to Flüeli-Ranft
On Bruderklausentag, the boarding students at the Stiftsschule Engelberg had a special experience: they made a pilgrimage together from Alpnach to Flüeli-Ranft.
The first part of the route took them to the Bethanien monastery in St. Niklausen, where they were able to take a well-earned lunch break. A special highlight was a visit to the multivision show “Niklaus & Dorothee Alive” at the LUMEUM, which gave the students an impressive insight into the life and work of Niklaus von Flüe and his wife Dorothee.
Invigorated and inspired, they continued along the pilgrims’ path to Flüeli-Ranft. There they had the opportunity to visit the hermitage and/or the chapel – an impressive end to a special day.
The students showed great interest and returned with many positive impressions.
