Corinne Ruckstuhl Shares Her Journey After Graduating from High School
At the end of April 2026, we were pleased to welcome alumna Corinne Ruckstuhl to our assembly. In a captivating presentation, she gave current students insights into her diverse career path after graduating from high school—a story that inspires them to forge their own paths and seize opportunities.
Engelberg native Corinne Ruckstuhl completed her secondary school education at Stiftsschule Engelberg and graduated with her Matura in 2014. Her path initially took her to South America for a gap year before she began her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). An exchange semester in Canada and numerous internships enriched her studies. At the same time, she was involved in various association committees at the university.
After her Bachelor’s degree, she completed a Master’s degree in Business Model Innovation, also at the HSG, as well as additional training as a business teacher. But Corinne Ruckstuhl didn’t just gain academic experience: From 2020 to 2025, she was active with Girls in Tech Switzerland and campaigned for more diversity in the tech industry. Her professional career took her into the start-up world (big data) before she acquired new skills with further training in product management. She has been working at SRF in the field of data and AI since 2023. She is currently also completing a CAS in Artificial Intelligence at MIT.
Despite her busy schedule, Corinne Ruckstuhl remains connected to her roots: Mountaineering, friends and, of course, Engelberg accompany her through all phases of her life. In her talk, she emphasized how important it is to live curiosity, face challenges and cultivate your own network. Her appeal to the students: “Use the time after the Matura to gain experience – whether studying, working or traveling. There is no one right path, but many possibilities.”
We would like to thank Corinne Ruckstuhl for her inspiring visit and the candid insights into her career. Her example shows: With passion, commitment and a sense of adventure, dreams can be realized.
