Andri Schwörer analyzes avalanche risk between Engelberg and Norway
On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, at 7.30 p.m., Andri Schwörer, a pupil at Stiftsschule Engelberg, will present his Matura thesis at Herrenhaus Grafenort in Sust. His project examines the regional differences in avalanche risk between Engelberg (Switzerland) and the Lyngen Alps (Norway) – based on the evaluation of avalanche bulletins.
Also participating are:
- Kira Kaiser (Kollegi Stans, Ennetmoos) with an analysis of foster care placements in Nidwalden
- Tim Wallimann (Kantonsschule Obwalden, Alpnach) with a march composition inspired by the “Alpnacherlied”
